Jolly Rancher Lollypops

These are the girls favorite thing to do of all time! They taste yummy, they look cool and they are really easy to do!!

3 Jolly Ranchers all lined up on parchment paper on a cookie tray..
250 degrees for like 5 min (this does depend on your oven)
Sometimes I had to go a little bit longer, just make sure all the Jolly Ranchers are melted and you can put a stick in them and let them cool down and then bag them!

Recipe Binders

I made one for my mother in law, since we were talking about it and all the crockpot recipes I was making, So I threw this together for her. At the same time, I was making one for my cousins' wife- which I have not sent her hers yet.. SHHhh!! She lives in Arizona and they were her for the Summer time and It is now New Years Eve and I am writing about not having it completed yet.
I guess those are one of many projects I need to finish in January!
Printed out some nice cook book covers that I liked..
Added some embellishments!

Walking Tacos

Found this on Pintrest..
Thought it would be fun for the kids.
We had small bags of Fritos leftover from the lunch snacks, of course those are the last to go.
I had regular ones and Chili ones- which are amazing with this idea..
Make all the fixings as if you were making tacos. I used ground turkey, lettuce, sour cream, cheese, and salsa.. Open the bag of chips and start adding in your ingredients. And that is your plate as well as your dish. My daughter actually ended up taking some chips out. I added mine to a bowl, it was hard to try and get all I wanted into the bag.
Something different and nice for the kids!
They really liked the idea.

Camping Ideas- Recipe for snacks

One camping trip, I decided to change it up a little. We were bringing one of our girls and her friend so we needed more snacks. So I actually went on to Pintrest and searched for camping recipes or something along those lines..

I found this great little idea- Pretty much can put anything on a kaboob stick and it will be good!
Of course, you soak the sticks in water for an hour. Then I bought pop chicken pieces, and then put 4-5 pieces on the stick. Pack it up and you are ready to go..

I have a flat skillet like thing that goes over the campfire or stove.. So that is what I did with turning and some turning and they were a hit!!
My boyfriend who is a stickler for keeping things the same was excited and probably ate more than anyone!
We always have BBQ sauce but you really did not need it at all!!

Monthly Project Ideas Printable

I like to make crafts with the girls, and I look things up or they get sent to my inbox.
So I thought I need to organize myself on what & when I want to do these projects.
So I made up a sheet to add my projects in. I wanted to start a goal up for me. I try and take too much on sometimes and some projects are bigger than others. So I made this template up and have it in my control binder, so that it is on hand. I also make a list for a month or two- try not to fill it up all in one month. This way, I know I need to buy supplies and for what month I need it for.
I also made a list of who I want to make them for. Feel free to pull them off for yourself and edit and make your own.

This is one I started and I just hand write it in, since I put it in my binder. It is in word doc so you can change yours up, if you like.

Valentine's Day 2014

I just have to say that this is NOT one of my holidays that I like. I think it is over commercialzed, we have a total of 365 days in a year and to do something special on this day is just too much pressure for anyone. Now, I must admit that the edges of  my hard square around Valentines has been filed to rounded edges  now, due to my daughter. I usually scroll around online and I pick about 5-8 ideas and let my daughter pick one. I actually love this idea!
I found it and I could not do it the way they listed it out. I got this idea from Gunny Sak. She has some great ideas on here..

 You will need:

Balloons
Toothpicks
Printables
Candy to fill
Ribbon

There are 2 printables for this project- 1 you put inside and the other as you can see gets tied to balloon.

I must tell you on the Gunny Sak, I should have realized the candy she bouhgt was all long and skinny. I bought some stuff at the Dollar Store, I got some flip frogs, candy, and also grabbed some brand name candy at CVS. I was following the insturctions that called for the plastic bottle to move the items in the balloon, but my items were too big to go through the whole. So I ended up holding the balloon open while my daughter stuffed it all in.
Printable 1- I hope your Valentine's Day is bursting with fun
Printable 2- Go Ahead and burst my bubble

Fun day with my girls-making our own gummy stars and tasty snacks

My neices do not get to do  many artsy/craftsy things, so I try and get tem and do things like that with them. So we did 2 projects today. One that Hailey,  my bonus daughter found and then one I found and love to eat as a treat!

 Gummies:
You will need:
1/2 C Cold Water
2 tsp Gelatin
85 g Jell-O, all flavors you like
plastic molds
*I got everything from this YouTube video:
http://youtu.be/uIPRrcxet6g

They are sugar free and so fun!!! All the girls got to pick their own flavor and we used several molds so that we can get them all done sooner than later. They harden pretty fast. Our very first batch we added way too much gelatin and they turned out to taste really chewy and bad! So make sure to follow instructions!

The chocolate treats

Making our own gummies

I had my nieces over and my two girls and so I wanted to do some fun things that my nieces do not get to do, I also feel like these girls are old enough to start cooking and baking so they know when they get older.

Christmas Trees made out of Embroidery String

I bought some Embroidery String and I found this idea online and paper cones were way better than the Styrofoam. It was hard to get the string off the Styrofoam. I had flour and water to make a plaster and added the string to it, and then wrap the tree like item. Let it dry and then BAM you have a tree and you add the disposable tea light the is not a candle. It is the dollar store 2 pack lights. Christmas time they have red glitter ones and those look cool.

I brought my nieces over and they made their own, Mine was not so stiff and it leaned over and collapsed. Danika who gave up, turned out the best. We all finished it but her.
The key here is to make the top part like a tip not like what this one looks like!

Halloween gift Idea for Co-Workers

I have 6 people on my team, so I did not want to spend a lot of money- but I do love Halloween. One of my favorite Holidays! So I went to yes you guessed it- The Dollar Store!!
I picked up these cool wine glasses and then a pack or two of the coasters. I bought a couple of things of candy and some gum. Then I added it all in the wine glass and put it on their desks with the coasters.. My manager likes Lindht candies and so she got something special!

Make your own calendar- Reuse

At work we are always updating our calendar! So this is awesome, you can use a dry erase marker and BAM change it up next month. I did this for several girls at work. I actually printed up monthly calendar for the year 2015, and so they can wrote important dates on it and then they can use each month separately!

My favorite store for crafts is dollar store and the frame is what I bought there and the markers I got at the office supply store, Add some ribbon and print up the calendars and BAM you are ready to go!

Making my own Pen Holder

My job is moving locations, into a newer building- So I wanted something most would not have.. I saw this to buys somewhere and decided I can make this. I got an old key board and thought a Pringle container will work!  I painted the pringle container, I would have used black if I had it.. So I went with the next darkest, royal blue! Pop off the keys is super easy.. then after painting the container-
You just glue and go. All keys are different shapes and sizes so at the end it looks cricked to me, but it is handmade and I love it!
